Hi, my name’s Jon and I became interested in health and fitness after I finished high school. I started off taking various P.E. classes in college to lose some extra weight that I had put on and after seeing the results week after week, really got into weight lifting and strength training from there. After a few years of exercising and learning a lot through P.E. classes and my own experience I decided to get certified and become a personal trainer. I’ve made a lot of progress and also had some setbacks from injuries which encouraged me to look at the body from a holistic point of view and realize that all aspects of our lives can have an effect on another. I grew up in Los Angeles, CA then moved up to the bay area to attend San Francisco State University to obtain my degree in Kinesiology. While graduating with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology, I earned a certification of Certified Personal Trainer by the American College of Sports Medicine. From playing basketball and other sports, I found a passion for fitness. My decision to become a trainer started with a freshman that didn't know how to use the weight room. After months of working with the freshman to gain strength and build muscle, I realized this is a passion to pursue, a passion to change lives through fitness. With over 13 years of experience, I have changed a lot of people's lives through fitness. I have trained clients that needs to be conditioned to serve in the armed forces. Plus I have trained clients that wanted to pursue law enforcement to build up their muscle endurance. Most importantly, I have have trained clients that enjoy muscle endurance races, such as Spartan Races, Tough Mudder and other kinds of races. With consistency and commitment will equal results. With circuit training you'll go pass on your expectations what you cannot do I like seeing a person change their body dramatically when they spend a longer duration in training.
