While growing up I was a competitive weightlifter and runner. Through college I kept my passion for health and fitness by training and competing in multiple half and full marathons. During that time I pursued becoming a personal trainer and yoga instructor. I spent my last years at FSU assisting my clients in achieving their health and fitness goals. I went on to switch industries as a young professional and moved to multiple states across the US, but maintained my love of living an active lifestyle. I spent a few years studying and reinstating my licenses for personal training and completed my 250 hour yoga teacher training. I have worked with a variety of individuals over the years and love to focus on improving flexibility, mobility, and core strength.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, my love for fitness began at an early age. I received my first weight bench at the age of 12yrs. In my early twenties, I trained in bodybuilding and fitness, competing in swimsuit competitions and making it too Nationals. Injuries kept me from competitions, but never slowed me down from the love for the sport. I was first certified in fitness through the Cooper Institute in Dallas, Texas. I knew then that I wanted to help change peoples lives, by not only teaching healthy lifestyles, but also by motivating people to become more active, and in a since, creating happiness by changing their lives. Going to college later in life, I earned my Master's Degree in Exercise Science. During college, I found a new love for running half marathons, marathons, and trail running. Trail running was one of the main reasons that brought me to Colorado. Since moving to Colorado, I have continued learning to understand the human body. I am also currently certified in Nutrition, Fitness Coaching and Personal Training.

It all began 15 years ago. My inspiration to help others through health and wellness started when I stepped into my first-ever health and fitness class in high school. At 14 years old, I remember asking the teacher (Coach Johnson), "How do I get my arms to look like yours?" He smirked and said, "Patience, Consistency, and Effort." Truthfully, I had no clue what he was talking about. I just wanted bigger arms, that's it! After every weight training class, I remember feeling accomplished, energized, and full of life. I quickly became attached to that feeling, became obsessed, and developed a passion for fitness. Fast forward: I went on to receive my B.S. in Health and Exercise Science at Colorado State. At this point in my fitness journey, I had a light bulb moment! "Patience, Consistency, and Effort" finally made sense to me. When I was a teenager, all I cared about was appearance, nothing else mattered, and I wanted fast results. But in reality, fitness, when done correctly and in a healthy manner, will be sustainable long-term, and appearance will simply be a byproduct. After college, in 2020, I managed an Assisted Stretch Clinic in Arvada. If you need a stretch, I'm your guy! During that time, I got certified in personal training through ISSA, as well as various specialties, including Corrective Exercise, Exercise Recovery, Strength & Conditioning, Glute Specialist, and Nutrition. I officially began personal training two years ago. In the past five years, my perspective on fitness has completely shifted from an aesthetic focus to a healthier, functional approach to improving our quality of life through strength, fluid movement, and proper nutrition. As a trainer, stretch specialist, and fitness fanatic, I understand that balance is key. Fitness doesn't need to become our whole life, it should be a part of our lifestyle, just like brushing our teeth. When I look back at my family, where everyone struggles with diabetes and chronic pain, I always imagine how different life would be for them if they had access to the same resources and education I've received. Now, my mission is to give back to help people with simple solutions and resources for a successful and sustainable fitness journey. Outside of coaching and training, I enjoy typical Colorado mountain things like hiking, camping, fishing, and snowboarding. Ultimately, I just love the thrill of what life has to offer everything from the worst moments to the best.
