    Benjamin Cofie has been in the fitness and martial arts movement for many years. A burning desire to be part of this movement led to several roles. As an entrepreneur in Ghana, he fabricated custom fitness equipment and led small group fitness training. He was a member of the Ghana National judo team and trained under instructors from the Kodokan. He worked as a personal trainer in some of the Boston area health and fitness clubs. He lead strength and conditioning programs for seniors in the research environment and at Assisted Living facilities in the Boston area for several years. He also served as a martial arts instructor at summer camps and extra after-school programs for students. Benjamin graduated cum Laude from UMass Boston with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Physical Education and from Eastern Nazarene College with Master’s in Management. He also holds a Kodokan Judo Black Belt diploma, a judo coach’s certificate and an Evidence-Based Strength & Conditioning certificate.     US Navy veteran and motivated personal trainer. Always looking for clients who are looking for a positive change in their lives! At 18 years old I joined the armed forces as an aircraft maintenance technician in the US Navy. I wasn't in the best shape and I didn't like to run. Basic Training was a wake up call for me, all of a sudden I was in touch with how out of shape i was. The first 3 weeks hurt like hell, but after that I started really enjoying the exercise portions of the training. My least favorite part of the whole program was becoming my favorite and I began to feel at home with the rise and grind mentality. After the grueling training of bootcamp I began adding weights and other various exercises to my workouts and have continued ever since I want to share this knowledge and this experience with all my clients so they can have the tools to become the best version of themselves they can become!

    Before becoming certified in Personal Training, I had a long career in Law Enforcement and a few years in Real Estate. I served as a Massachusetts State Trooper for over 25 years and loved every minute of it.
