    Before getting into personal training I was a NYC bike messenger for 6 years in my early 20s. Pushing the limits of my physical capabilities in the streets of New York delivering packages in a high stress, high stakes, very dangerous, and time sensitive manner. I was able to adapt my physical attributes that I had learned when I was a kid. It's always best to check with your Svetness trainer to see if you can workout barefoot since it will depend on the exercises you'll be doing! Some workouts might be perfectly fine barefoot, like yoga or Pilates. However, for exercises requiring more stability or involving weights, your trainer may recommend supportive shoes for safety and proper form.
