Great to Meet You! I'm Emmanuel Uribe, a 5+ year vet in the fitness industry. I began my training journey at a young age participating in over a decade of swimming and judo training. Early in high school, I also began developing strength and hypertrophy training. Once in college, I applied for my NASM cert, and once received it, I have worked with wonderful people from Boston to NYC. I've learned to specialize in building personal relationships with my clients through functional training. I have a personal training history of almost a decade. I first interested in fitness as post-trauma training. Enhancing flexibility and muscular strength of injured individuals. Before getting into personal training I was a NYC bike messenger for 6 years in my early 20s. Pushing the limits of my physical capabilities in the streets of New York delivering packages in a high stress, high stakes, very dangerous, and time sensitive manner. I was able to adapt my physical attributes that I had learned when I was a kid. From my experience playing competitive sports like basketball, baseball, track & field, I learn the fundamental principles of how important it is to stay in shape in order to interact with the physical world. I then pursued an interest in helping people get into shape and help them have a better relationship with their body. Getting my education at FPTI (Focus Personal Training Institute) and certified with ISSA (International Sports Science Association) I've been a personal trainer for 4 year.
