Ildiko Scott is a Certified Personal Trainer , Corrective Exercise Specialist, Fitness Nutrition Specialist and a Health and Fitness Professional. She had been struggling with her weight and health for 29 years. 10 years ago she made drastic lifestyle changes and lost 50 lb and turned her weight and health problems around. In the process Ildiko fell in love with exercise, healthy eating and become a Certified Personal Trainer, did a lot of studying and experimenting on nutrition and lifestyle. She is a firm believer that safe and sound exercise, good, healthy nutrition and a good night sleep can change your life. I am a professional contemporary ballet dancer that moonlights as a fitness trainer. I am fully trained in Cardio Barre Technique, kickboxing, stretching, Pilates and core conditioning. I truly believe in allowing yourself to have good training days and not-so-great training days--it's all part of the process, keeping the balance between your mind+body connection. Helen is a great trainer! She is really dedicated, and wants to see you achieve your goals. Helen’s trainings are challenging, but do not leave you completely sore and hating exercise. On days that I am not training with Helen, she gives me homework assignments and checks to make sure I am keeping up with them. Helen also gives tips on proper nutrition. Overall, I am really enjoying my sessions with Helen.

I have a personal training history of almost a decade. I first interested in fitness as post-trauma training. Enhancing flexibility and muscular strength of injured individuals. Before getting into personal training I was a NYC bike messenger for 6 years in my early 20s. Pushing the limits of my physical capabilities in the streets of New York delivering packages in a high stress, high stakes, very dangerous, and time sensitive manner. I was able to adapt my physical attributes that I had learned when I was a kid. From my experience playing competitive sports like basketball, baseball, track & field, I learn the fundamental principles of how important it is to stay in shape in order to interact with the physical world. I then pursued an interest in helping people get into shape and help them have a better relationship with their body. Getting my education at FPTI (Focus Personal Training Institute) and certified with ISSA (International Sports Science Association) I've been a personal trainer for 4 year.
