I am a professional contemporary ballet dancer that moonlights as a fitness trainer. I am fully trained in Cardio Barre Technique, kickboxing, stretching, Pilates and core conditioning. I truly believe in allowing yourself to have good training days and not-so-great training days--it's all part of the process, keeping the balance between your mind+body connection. Helen is a great trainer! She is really dedicated, and wants to see you achieve your goals. Helen’s trainings are challenging, but do not leave you completely sore and hating exercise. On days that I am not training with Helen, she gives me homework assignments and checks to make sure I am keeping up with them. Helen also gives tips on proper nutrition. Overall, I am really enjoying my sessions with Helen.

Before getting into personal training I was a NYC bike messenger for 6 years in my early 20s. Pushing the limits of my physical capabilities in the streets of New York delivering packages in a high stress, high stakes, very dangerous, and time sensitive manner. I was able to adapt my physical attributes that I had learned when I was a kid. From my experience playing competitive sports like basketball, baseball, track & field, I learn the fundamental principles of how important it is to stay in shape in order to interact with the physical world. I then pursued an interest in helping people get into shape and help them have a better relationship with their body. Getting my education at FPTI (Focus Personal Training Institute) and certified with ISSA (International Sports Science Association) I've been a personal trainer for 4 year.

Isiah was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He was involved in soccer, basketball and baseball. Growing up and being raised in Brooklyn NY was very tough and i delt with a lot of Adversity and Short comings but i delt with the situations being strong minded and determined for success. Growing up as a Child i was rather skinny,but as i got into my teens my body weight increased drastically and i became very insecure about myself physically and Emotionally and it brought mw into a very depressing stage in life. I was over weight from ages 12 to 18 then at 19 i found my path into fitness which really made me better person. I became not only stronger physically but mentally as well because there is no separation between that at all. Fitness became my lifestyle for the pass 15yrs and it's been nothing but greatness.
