Tyler was born and raised in Montgomery, New York. Growing up Tyler enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. He played baseball in high school. His passion for baseball helped him develop an interest in biomechanics and kinesiology. He has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Sacred Heart University. He will continue with graduate school at SHU in the Fall of 2023, starting class for his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He is a American College of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer. Punctual! Offered a mix of instruction and rep training for first session. Very laid back which is a stark difference from other trainers. Paid attention to our form and made sure we understood what we were doing and how to not injure ourselves. Very attentive. Hope to see a little more energy and direction for our second session but definitely a positive experience for the first session.

There should be a way to record what the exercises were, how many reps we did, what weight we used, etc...

My name is Anthony Gilmore, I have been certified as a Personal Trainer since August 2014. I reside in Westchester County and am enthusiastic about training clients in my area. My certification is through a company called World Instructor Training School (WITS). In order to receive a WITS certificate, I underwent two months of in-class lectures, practical instruction, a final exam, and a 40-hour internship. I have renewed my WITS certificate four times, in which I fulfilled the 10 Continuing Education courses (CECs) through each cycle. I am, and have been, a long time practitioner of exercise training. Thus far, I specialize in strength training and cardiovascular exercise. I am a lifelong, dedicated athlete; I have experience playing college level lacrosse, football, basketball, downhill skiing, baseball, mountain biking, and soccer. Winston was very encouraging and was able to tell when to give me a push and when I needed a break. He started out getting to know more about my history and daily life, and used that knowledge to assess where to begin. When giving me tasks to complete he observed to see how far I could push myself naturally. I liked that style of training because I wasn't focused on the number of reps, but just putting in the work and letting him tell me when to stop or stopping when I felt I reached my limit. Often my personal limit exceeded his expectation and he encouraged me by letting me know. Looking forward to pushing harder and getting stronger in my next sessions with Winston. Thank you!
